1. Overview
Black Cat Security is committed to fair and transparent refund practices. We want you to be satisfied with our service, and we will work with you to resolve any issues. This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which refunds may be granted and the process for requesting one.
2. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with EU consumer protection law and the French Consumer Code (Articles L221-18 to L221-28), consumer customers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. You may exercise this right without providing a reason by contacting us at contact@blackcatsecurity.fr within the 14-day period.
Please note that if you have given explicit prior consent to the immediate provision of the digital service and expressly acknowledged that you waive your right of withdrawal, the right of withdrawal may be waived. In such cases, if you have partially used the service before exercising withdrawal, a proportionate amount corresponding to the service consumed will be deducted from your refund.
3. Refund Eligibility
Beyond the statutory right of withdrawal, refunds may be granted in the following circumstances:
Unused subscription: you have been charged for a subscription period but have not accessed or used the service during that period.
Billing errors: you have been charged incorrectly, charged twice, or charged after cancellation.
Service not as described: the service materially fails to match the description provided at the time of purchase and the issue cannot be resolved through support.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please send an email to contact@blackcatsecurity.fr with the subject line "Refund Request" and include the following information:
Your name and the email address associated with your account.
Your order or transaction reference number.
The reason for your refund request.
Any supporting documentation (e.g., screenshots, error messages).
All refunds are processed through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. We will review your request and respond within 5 business days.
5. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days of approval and returned to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your payment provider and financial institution.
6. Exceptions
Refunds will not be granted in the following situations:
Fully consumed subscription periods where the service has been actively used.
Accounts terminated due to violation of our Acceptable Use Policy, in which case no refund is owed for the remaining subscription period.
