Unauthorized penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, or security testing of the Black Cat Security platform or infrastructure is strictly prohibited. If you discover a security vulnerability, we encourage you to report it responsibly.
Please report any security vulnerabilities via email to contact@blackcatsecurity.fr with the subject line "Responsible Disclosure". We will acknowledge receipt within 3 business days and work to resolve confirmed vulnerabilities promptly. We will not take legal action against good-faith security researchers who follow this responsible disclosure process.
4. Resource Limits and Fair Use
The Service is provided on a fair-use basis. You agree not to make excessive API calls, generate unreasonable amounts of traffic, or otherwise consume resources in a manner that could degrade the experience for other users. Rate limits and usage quotas apply as documented in our API documentation and may vary by subscription plan.
If your usage significantly exceeds normal patterns, we may contact you to discuss an appropriate plan upgrade or may apply temporary rate limiting to protect the Service.
5. Content Standards
You must not upload, store, or transmit any content through the Service that contains malicious files or scripts, or that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any content you submit to the Service complies with applicable laws and these content standards.
6. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, we ask that you report it promptly to contact@blackcatsecurity.fr. Please include as much detail and evidence as possible, including the nature of the violation, the parties involved, and any relevant screenshots or logs. All reports will be treated confidentially.
7. Enforcement
Black Cat Security reserves the right to investigate any suspected violation of this AUP and to take appropriate action. Enforcement follows a graduated approach:
- Warning: for minor or first-time violations, we will issue a written warning and request that you cease the violating activity.
- Suspension: for repeated or more serious violations, we may temporarily suspend your access to the Service pending resolution.
- Termination: for severe or persistent violations, or where a warning or suspension has not resulted in compliance, we may permanently terminate your account.
In cases of serious violations that pose an immediate risk to the security, integrity, or availability of the Service or to other users, Black Cat Security may take immediate action, including suspension or termination, without prior warning. No refund will be issued for accounts terminated due to AUP violations.
8. Modifications
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to you by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
