- Open Discord and right-click your server icon in the left sidebar
- Select "Server Settings" from the context menu
- Navigate to "AutoMod" in the left panel
- Find the disabled rule and toggle it on
- If the rule is no longer needed, delete it to keep configuration clean

Reduce the number of exempt roles and channels on AutoMod rules to maintain effectiveness
- Open Discord and right-click your server icon in the left sidebar
- Select "Server Settings" from the context menu
- Navigate to "AutoMod" in the left panel
- Click the rule with excessive exemptions
- Review and remove unnecessary exempt roles and channels
- Save the changes

Simplify channel permissions by reducing the number of role and member overwrites
- Open Discord and locate the flagged channel in the channel list
- Right-click the channel and select "Edit Channel"
- Navigate to the "Permissions" tab
- Review all role and member overwrites
- Remove unnecessary overwrites and consolidate access using category-level permissions
- Save the changes
